Sex is what happens between two consensual adults who both want it. Rape is what happens when force,coercion, blackmailing, violence is used in order to get it. Rape is most often a product of displaced feelings of dominance, hate and power over another. Sex is indeed not rape, and rape is not sex.
I don’t see how that is so difficult to understand.
