most of the step dads are kinder and gentler than the biological dads here. They spend amazing amount of time and money on the kids. Just one example this twin girls I know are 12 and competitive hockey players travelling all across north America competing, step dad invests countless hours taking them to practice and tens of thousands to pay for programmes, most of the white kids swim, ski, skate, camp, hike and many more activities

I dont know if thats true or not. But I was wondering why there might be a **pattern **of step dads being kinder, gentler and more supportive than biological dads? Any thoughts?
