LAHORE: Inquiry Committee has completed its investigations on Pakistan cricket team’s defeat in Australia and recommended ban on former captain Shoaib Malik and pace bowler Rana Naveed-ul-Hasan.
The committee, headed by PCB chief operating officer Wasim Bari, was investigating the Pakistan team’s defeat in Australia.
It has handed over its report to chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Ijaz Butt.
The committee also recommended action against Shahid Afridi on ball tampering and suggested action against Kamran Akmal and his brother Umar Akmal for violation of discipline and giving statements to media.
re: March 2010: Rana banned; Oct 2010: Rana’s ban lifted by PCB
^ was it Naveed whom Yousuf talked about someone who was dropped from test and causing problems in the dressing room? Anyway, in my opinion all these idiots should be banned from the team including Afridi, Malik, Yousuf, Kamran Akmal and Younis. Umar Akmal should be banned for 1 year for pretending to have stiff back.
that was too less for a 'crime' like that. Not only brought shame to the game but to country as well.
Some one just changed his name from Boom Boom Afridi to 'Bite Bite' Afridi.
i dont care he make a mistake he admitted ........now there should be no actions against him ........speaking of this all inquiry .......i dont think so malik has fixed the match
.....he didnt played in sydney test which was likely to be fixed
I am sure they will not do anything against Shoaib Malik ... I dont know who is at his back ..but whoever he is ...has b@ll$ to look after Malik !
The question is will they do ANYTHING at all or follow any recommendations made by the committee? We were expecting BIG changes in PCB after Aust. tour. There's hardly any so far.
The drama is killing me. I waiting for a any news source to report it but havent seen anything yet. In Pakistan, its past midnite now so the news should have come out.
