Which gearbox/transmission do you prefer in your car? Manual or automatic?

I like manual but currently driving an automatic one.

I prefer manual, but its a B to drive a manual in the crazy traffic of UAE. Auto is the only sane option.

you know I am feeling so stupid now, my dude talked me into buying an automatic car.
I went there to get manual.

And sales man said do you have a wife I said no, he want one I said YES.
He goes "get automatic".

Hey i can drive manual (just about), is it really rare for women to be able to drive manual here?
coz i know loads of girlys who drive manual.
btw i prefer manual.

love the stick... I prefer manual but wife hates it... so we settled on a sportronic - I know it's not the same but what can you do.

i can drive manual but like Jaanwar said its only sane to drive auto in crazy traffic conditions. Imagine driving on roads where the max speed limit is 70km/h and i have to stop every 10 minutes at traffic junctions. all those gear changing would give a person serious wrist problems!

I drive a manual but would prefer automatic, don't like changing the gear again and again.

sportronic, tiptronic or the various other names for that technology, whatever you call it is where it is bro. if F1 finds it good enough, its good enough for me,

purists may get into the difference b/w sequential manual transmission and tiptronic, but for my purposes tomay-to tomah-to..
