Well what ever the end result of this, isi and army chief have lost what ever little credibility they were left with by putting their weight behind ijaz’s allegations.

I dont see when they put their weight behind Mansoor Ijaz. Their statement simply said that the memo was a reality, and its contents need to be investigated. They did not imply that Mansoor Ijaz is right and Haqqani is wrong. Haqqani resigned because very likely he found a tinka in his daarhi.

Dont forget that DG ISI met personally with Mansoor Ijaz, and he must have seen all the ‘evidence’ first hand in order to ask for an inquiry. As far as Mansoor Ijaz visiting strip clubs is concerned, that is not under scrutiny here.
