Now you really, really are falling for the Zardari demonisation campaign.
I am not falling for any campaign but have first hand experience of his corrupt practices, which outraged and disgusted me no end. I can list my experience here if you so wish. Secondly the way he has single handedly destroyed PPP, I am amazed party members still want to support him.

You know he is unpopular with PPP workers.
He is corrupt, and so was every other ruler in Pakistan. You cannot compare him to the mass corrupt killer Zia, who we are still suffering from 30 years later!
I don't blame him for not coming to Pakistan. Would any one of us in similar conditions go there, I don't think so. When there is a chammar like Zardari around no one is safe. Supreme court should take his evidence via video link.
EB, There are loads of american citizens here in Pakistan roaming around freely in isb.
But the thing is, if there is no doubt about it being a drama, why does Govt issuing threatening statements like 'we may put his name in ECL' or 'file a case against him'?
MI is an idiot but his idiocty has brought the idiots out in Govt, Army, ISI and PMLN
KARACHI: A video clip aired by a number of TV channels shows Mansoor Ijaz, the central character in the ‘memogate’ affair, leaving a striptease club in London after he was booed by some people.
Mr Ijaz had gone to the club with his Indian friends and stayed there for some time before some youths who appeared to be of Asian origin spotted him and started booing him.
Security personnel on duty asked him to leave the club premises and Mr Ijaz is seen in the video trying to cover the lens of the camera.
It may be mentioned that Mr Ijaz has so far refused to come to Pakistan to testify before a judicial commission investigating the memo affair citing concerns for his security.
nangi gori aurton ka dance dekhnay wala, how he is reliable? He is professional black mailer and stupid matured play boy:)
I don't know if you have a problem with 'gori aurat' or 'dance' but our very own PPP minister Qamar Zaman Kaira spent money on Indian girl for dance. Now, Ijaz is not our minister, but Qamar Zaman is.
Well what ever the end result of this, isi and army chief have lost what ever little credibility they were left with by putting their weight behind ijaz's allegations.
no point deflecting or offering another person's sin as justification for this one's
foolish, foolish man.
of all times.....when he's enjoying an extension to his two minutes of fame.....to be careless like this.....
My point is, 'character' should not even be in list of things to discuss by PPP supporters. Their chief offers to hug and flirts with 'gorgeous' lady in his capacity as president of Pakistan, their ministers say corruption is their right, burying daughters alive is tradition, when they go abroad they spend money on limousines for personal tours/Indian dancers. This guy Mansoor is not our govt official.

As has already been pointed out to you, when someone accuses PPP,PML, etc, people will look at the accusers character - ie. whether they are believeable people, or someone with bad intentions.
That is normal for any situation, and that is what we are seeing in Pakistan today. Everyone now realises how much of a liar and fraud this Ijaz person is.

I dont see when they put their weight behind Mansoor Ijaz. Their statement simply said that the memo was a reality, and its contents need to be investigated. They did not imply that Mansoor Ijaz is right and Haqqani is wrong. Haqqani resigned because very likely he found a tinka in his daarhi.
Dont forget that DG ISI met personally with Mansoor Ijaz, and he must have seen all the 'evidence' first hand in order to ask for an inquiry. As far as Mansoor Ijaz visiting strip clubs is concerned, that is not under scrutiny here.
