In a direct threat to the actor, party spokesperson Sanjay Raut has reminded him that he has his house in Mumbai. “Mannat is in Mumbai, not Pakistan.”
The party is peeved with the actor refusing to apologise for backing Pakistani players in IPL 3.
Raut said, "SRK has said he will not apologise, but he has said that in the US. Let him come and say this in Mumbai.
“If India has a major threat, it is because of people like him. He is a good artist, but this is not Shah Rukh Khan speaking, but the Congress speaking through him.”
Meanwhile, the Congress has reacted strongly to the Sena’s offensive. Party general secretary Digvijay Singh has said that the Thackerays are just paper tigers.
