It is stupid to suggest that simply cos there is a gender difference it is inevitable that something will happen...
My main issue is that sometimes friends can be possessive overt their friends...and this is boys and girls...
girls are worried that their friend wont spend as much as time with her now that you've arrived and will be a ***** to you...
and iv seen a lot of occasions where the girl has no feeling for her friends who are boys but the boy has some clear love for the girl...
It can be annoying but remember they are friends and have shared a lot so be good to their friends...to the girls so they dont see you as that much of a threat and to the boys just so your girlfriend will like your flexibility...
This is a worst case scenario which i have seen...but often there is no problem...my female friends are happy to see me not single...although a couple maybe not...and for quite a few girls iv met...there friends get on with me cos im naturally quite inclusive of them and dont seem like im taking their friend away...
