May be am biased as a Batman fan, but i didnt find this Superman movie anything special, yes a true entertaining movie and i dont have any problem with that, i truly enjoyed it for the 2+ hours but if you ask me to come up with a great dialogue or scene from it, i cant, nothing can come close to Nolan's Batman series in superhero movies.

I watched it and other than the fact that Henry Cavill is "hot", I was a bit disappointed. I wasn't keen on the secret identity story angle.
Oh well, I'm told it was a well-planned origin story in order to set up the second movie which is expected to be better. All said and done, okay.

The main problem which a lot of people, including the critics, seem to have with the movie is that it betrays one fundamental aspect of Superman's character. I, on the other hand, find it very gutsy and can't wait to see how the writer and director develop the effects of that one event on Supermans personality further in the story.

regardless the fact whatever the critics have to say the movie is doing MASSIVE business in US and around the globe!!!
I absolutely loved the movie because I as a fan had seen Superman with that red underwear which was absolutely a no no for me and thinking about to take my kids and show a idiot whose private parts are ‘highlighted’ 
I was sitting next to this couple with 3 boys, English family and the boys were loving every bit of it. Even i asked the mum why you liked this movie so much… she said because it does not show Superman with that red undie and he does not act as a total geek and yes Superman has evolved a lot as per the current times which is the most interesting aspect of the movie
4 days - 125.5 Million dollars and still going on and on

It will do good at the box office as there isn't any competition for it, and also its a big budget superhero movie. Am not against the movie, it was a great watch but still think it was and is a over hyped movie.
P.S: Thanks for that No-undie tidbit, i completely overlooked it, now i know why i was thinking there is something missing from superman.

Superman is a legend as well as batman. Meray paas ab b inki comic books parhi haen. Aur khaali inki nahi… i have comic books which have He Man, Hulk, Iron man, Batman, Superman, Captain America too

Batman is awesome or may be our expectations after Nolan's dark master pieces are just too much
