I think polygamy is brilliant. Way convenient for women, especially ambitious women, less demands (not just household) if its all shared out and done PROPERLY! And I really do believe there is less disappointment! (Maybe because of less expectation?) But What would I know... I'd love to hear from a '2nd/3rd/4th' wife! :D

In western countries men generally hate their mother-in-laws. Maybe hate is too strong a word maybe dislike is better.

who starches and irons shirts? errrr many people. most peopke just get shirt service from drycleaners to do that, but in general that just decreases the life span of the shirts, so I do it myself.

Man i cud NEVA share my hubz with another woman. Jeez man if housework is such an issue get a flippen cleaner. Good grief! Housework really isnt the end of the world. Dont mean to b funny but ive got a huge house which ppl look at and think oh my god what a nightmare to keep clean but i like my home to look like a showhome and im very houseproud indeed. Im really wierd abt stuff like that and if i had a cleaner I KNOW they wudnt clean it to my standard. I maintain it all on my own...it can b done...i dont moan abt getting a cleaner even tho i cud get whateva i wanted IF i wanted it. I dont like the idea of a stranger coming into my home simply to clean it. I mean when i had my daughter EVERY1 pretty much told me to get a nanny cos we cud...but we didnt cos we cant trust any1 else to look after my daughter the way i wud.

But wud all that cleaning and cooking help b a great thing if ur hubz has alternative nights between u and the other bird? I think not! Rant over!

I'm not married, thats why i said 'what would i know' and how i would like to hear from a '2nd/3rd/4th' wife [let us know about her experiences]. Just putting a different angle on things, is that ok with everyone? :)

Its a nice thing that your house sparkles, thats a very commendable thing. I've found it hard to do but not so much now that my Mom is here. But even so, we havent reached the "sparkle" point yet lol! We'll get there one day I'm sure....

In the meantime, chill!! No offense was intended!

mama dunn worry most ppl took it as a humourous thread.

One time wifey and I were horsing around, I was pretending to be a male chauvanist type of husband and telling begum do this and do that, feed me, press my feet, putting on a paindo accent. she is acting like a rebelous suppressed woman..." no more, do your own chores, feed yourself, why should I cook for you". I responded "becaaaz you are wife..." and she responds "in that case I want equal rights, I want a wife too" ..we were both rolling over laughing, but my next comment got me slammed on the head with a cushion.

Pir sahib and others. This is serious thread and should be shown due respect. I believe I am the only contributor to this thread who has proposed something concrete. We must seriously promote mut'ah or at least misyar relationships.

Please do not derail this important issue.

Theres always hope mr expat....I mean, I keep on playing lotto, hey you never know... a dollar and a dream yeah? So perhaps your dollar and a dream will one day bring you your bounty of wives. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait for the seventy-two virgins.
Hopefully for you, it wont be ONE 72 year old virgin lol!
