Ok so something I’ve always wondered and been curious about…I don’t intend to poke fun or be condescending or anything…but why do men decide to go into gynecology?

Maybe that assisting someone in giving birth connects them to the spiritual side of, well, giving birth. One of the few ways men can connect to it.
And that, people will never stop giving birth, so there will always be jobs.

as far as male doc's going into this branch is concerned,i seriously propose they should have a psycho perverto analysis before allowed in.

i mean namaz isnt physical devotion it has to start from mental and spiritual devotion and then be expressed physically. so yea lets not assume negative stuff about male gynocologists. mayeb they did it for the money, maybe they found it interesting, and i believe males go to gynocologists too if it has to do with their reproduction system so maybe they did it to make it easier for their fellow men.

It really is all physical. What does the average person know about Gynecology? Not much. When you do learn about it, everything becomes desexualized. Male doctors dont see a womens body in a sexual or lustful way, but they see problems related to the health of a person.
I have drawn naked models for Art. The first time I did it I was nervous about seeing someone naked in front of me and then drawing what I saw. But literally 5 min into it I didnt see the mans privates anymore, I saw the curves I had to try to imitate on my paper.

Well, its a vast field not just restricted to the usual stuff we first tend to think of. Some people may genuinely be interested in it while some may just land into it if they couldn't make it elsewhere.

pervy men can be found in other areas of medicine as well. Not just gynaecology.
Thank goodness in the 21st century we have female docs in pretty much every branch of medicine.

Sincerely, I know a bunch of them. Let's say, they are more than comfortable with female anatomy to begin with and nothing satisfies them more than to help women with their anatomy.
They are also partial surgeons and tend to love surgery except they didn't want to go through a 5 year intense residency with maniac surgeons and chose to pursue surgery in a less threatening environment. It's one of the few specialties that combines surgery and medicine where you can operate but also connect with your patients.
And they love fish. And vaginas.
