Malalai Joya - The Bravest Woman In Afghanistan

A story that must be told, share & copy/paste.

TIME magazine named Malalai Joya to the 2010 TIME 100

Her most memorable quote is: “It is time for the women of Afghanistan to be unveiled, and for Afghanistan to rise again and be the great nation we remember it to be”

The daughter of a former medical student who lost a leg while fighting the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Malalai Joya was 4 years old when her family fled Afghanistan in 1982 to the refugee camps of Iran and later Pakistan. After the Soviet withdrawal, Malalai Joya returned to Afghanistan in 1998 during the Taliban’s reign. As a young woman she worked as a social activist and was named a director of the non-governmental group, Organisation of Promoting Afghan Women’s Capabilities (OPAWC) in the western provinces of Herat and Farah.

…And now the story begins where losers/suckers & low life scum of earth (commonly known as Taliban) show their true Manly courage (which only work on Children & Women though)

You know what happened after that, let me quote World Plus Magazine here:

On May 7, 2006, Malalai Joya was physically and verbally attacked by fellow members of parliament after accusing several colleagues of being “warlords” and unfit for service in the new Afghan government. “I said there are two kinds of mujahedeen in Afghanistan,” Joya told the Associated Press. “One kind fought for independence, which I respect, but the other kind destroyed the country and killed 60,000 people.” In response, angered lawmakers shouted death threats and threw empty plastic water bottles at Joya, who was shielded by sympathetic colleagues

In response to such threats, Joya continues to speak out against those she believes to be former mujahedeen in Afghanistan, stating:

Please buy the book, thats the least we can do for the people of Afghanistan under the tyranny of self-made Islam by Taliban (aka low life scum of earth).

Wow.

Re: Malalai Joya - The Bravest Woman In Afghanistan

Brave brave girl. I got respect for her. We need more like her.

Re: Malalai Joya - The Bravest Woman In Afghanistan

Time Magazine:

Re: Malalai Joya - The Bravest Woman In Afghanistan

In the loya jirga, people were shouting "murg bur communism" when she had given her speech. So they were calling her communist.
Communist or not, she was right. From what I understand, she was not just against Taliban but also against other warlords from Northern Alliance.

exactly and the mighty Speaker did what a real mujaahid can do only:

“call the guards, and throw her out”… wow such a man these jihadi’s are, i am astonished :k:

Re: Malalai Joya - The Bravest Woman In Afghanistan

Very very controversial figure in Afghanistan. People specifically local NGOs for women's rights and international Women's NGOs have made the comments to me personally that she is way too much on media and very little on substance.

Depending on what you think you either love her or hate her.

Re: Malalai Joya - The Bravest Woman In Afghanistan

Here is what Mullah Muhammad Umar had to say about her and the Loya Jirga of 2003 setup by the invaders:

**All the delegates of the Loya Jirga were criminals as rightly pointed out by a young lady [Malalai Joya]. She showed the courage of telling the delegates that they were murderers of innocent people of Afghanistan and they should be dragged to the national and international courts of justice. The Loya Jirga is a US ploy to derive legitimacy for the Karzai government. We denounce it.

**May Allah give victory to the rightly guided mujahideen.

Re: Malalai Joya - The Bravest Woman In Afghanistan

Ameen.

fyi, the man is a respected leader in Afghanistan and if it wasn’t for his order to call the guards, the murderers sitting in that jirga would have shot her up. So be thankful and think before you post something.

"I said there are two kinds of mujahedeen in Afghanistan," Joya told the Associated Press. **"One kind fought for independence, which I respect, but the other kind destroyed the country and killed 60,000 people." **In response, angered lawmakers shouted death threats and threw empty plastic water bottles at Joya, who was shielded by sympathetic colleagues

Interseting....which group she's referring to that killed 60,000 people?

The criminals after the soviets left who caused civil war.

lol, nice try - the speaker asked her to apologize which she refused to do repeatedly. If UN security forces were not present their, she probably be lynched by mighty Mujahideen’s.

The speaker (as per your saying the respected leader of my ass) golden words were:

**Source: **

maybe your drunk? hungover? had more than enough wine last night? sorry anything coming out of drinker’s mouth is filthy to say the least. your words carry no weight. thanks for the entertainment.

I think she is referring to massacres of Hazaras & Tajik's by the mighty Taliban's but again their manly skills only work on deprive, poor, women & children. This is expected from students of devil (commonly known as Taliban).

isn’t video enough for the proof? Watch from 1:20 and onwards, maybe it was some talibanic spirit speaking inside the mouth of the “most respected” :hehe:

again, competent people’s words fly by you. it’s hard for you to comprehend really. you are living in lala land all the time, it must be difficult for you to grasp common sense.

the man’s words are right on when he says be quiet. if she kept on going, your sister in that video would not be alive today.

anyways, all those present in that jirga are sell outs, not worth my time.

lol, were you present behind speaker on inside his mind? dude if you are talking about "competent people words" .. then you are pretty much very down.

the video source is better then any talibanic e-jihadi, would you like to have a poll on it?

Can you name a few rightly guided mujahideen??? I'll really appreciate if you can give any name..

Re: Malalai Joya - The Bravest Woman In Afghanistan

I am and so is every true Muslim… Jihad isn’t all about guns :smack:

Not all Mujahids are fighters on the battlefield.

But anyhow without getting too deep into religion Jihad is mandatory for all Muslims.
