If U call it ISHQ … then… the Answer is NO. Ishq maiN Hasil and La hasil ka tasawar naheeN hota… Ishq Kuch Hasil ya Paanay ka naam hi naheeN hay… Ishq is something Beyond HASIL.
Its only Giving wthout even the hope of Taking.
U can Call it…Tx Only… The Trasmitter is Tramsmitting wihout botherring if The Reciever will recive wat I am transmitting.
Jiss Se ishq hota hay.. Uss pe apni Raza, Khushi, Nafs sab kuch Qurbaan kar dia jata hay…
In other words… KHUDI JahaaN Bikk jati hay… wo manzile Ishq hoti hay …

Do you think Ishq has disappeared now ?? Specially Ishq-e- majazi, Anyone seen a real aashiq lately ?. Bear in mind that as stated by Golden Scorpian "Ishq is beyond the concept of material gains"

shart-e-raza yeh hai ke taqaaza bhee chorr day
waiz saboot laye jo may ke jawaz me

Kam az kam maiN ne tou naheeN dekha... although I now lots of ppl who call it ishq but they dont know even the definition of Ishq.. Or I would say.. They Dont konw.. even.. Wat... AIN of ISHQ meanz... the remainign SHEEN and QAAF tou baad ki baat hay :D
Normaly.. Ppl ... Mix... Physical Atraction ( wat I call FATAL ATTERACTION) with Ishq.
I would love to see a real Aashiq :D
For ISHQ and MUHAABAT in English I think its the same word.. LOVE.
But if U call Muhabbat a LOVE then u cannot Call ISHQ a LOVE ;)

Maktab-e-ishq kaa dastoor niraalaa dekha
uss ko chuTi naa mili jis ko sabaq yaad huvaa

Agreed with GS first simple logic.
However, why would u just give ? why would u suffer & try to comfort him/her? A simple answer is “Ishq” Bazat-e-khud is another name of “Khud Garzi”.

U dont wana see him/her in a pain bcos that gives u even a greater pain, u want to make him/her happy bcos it gives u a greater happiness. What ever u do for him/her is basically for urself…& even than one day u write a poem or complaint it was for u & cry for ur sorrows

Is Ishaq'a La Hasil really a life threating thing ? and how do men and women coup with it. Do they handle these situation differently, or do we have the same reaction to Ishaq'a La Hasil ?

according to him there's no limit in ishq, whether it be ishq-e-haqiqi or ishq-e- majazi.
