Making Pakistan a better place to live..

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

** Pakistan can never be made a better place to live, lets face it we are all corrupt, and we would never change, we are hypocritical, despicable, in our ways and will always be the Pakistanis we are.

The only way Pakistan can get better is, if a Super power totally desimates Pakistan to 0/0 and then rebuilds it. otherwiswe we are doomed.**

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

oH sheit!!!!!!! The truth poured out, I think I sould not be SUI, Surffing Under the Influence.

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

Do you often talk to yourself?

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

The only way Pakistan, and any other muslim country for that matter, would be a better place to live would be if Pakistanis (and applies to residents of other countries) would start behaving like civil human beings. People want to cause problems and harm others - you get a place like Pakistan. Its not the system. Its the people. People are garbage, I hate to say it.

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

One way is to hope that the government will take the necessary action. For this you need patience & political will, which to my mind is the long long way.

Why don't each one of you make a small change, help the young in Pakistan to become better students/ and future better citizens. When next in Pak, visit a school in a poor area-donate books, compass sets, stationary, pencil rubber etc and make sure the school distributes it. Or make a small donation to the school for a cricket set, or a few uniforms for the poor kids. Anything!!

Help the kids to be better citizens - then only can our countries (Pak or India) progress.

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

should we take you out of teh country before its desi-mated or would you like to stay?

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

speak for yourself.

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

I personally luv that fact you opened up this thread in the first place. But this topic doesnt need a thread, it needs a forum......lotsa stuff to say.
On a smaller scale i think everybody should start out as an individual and look around their homes and families and start from there. Too much time wasted behind indian drama serials and as a result, majority of the women population who happen to be housewives, are brain numb. I think get rid of the extreme mass takeover of satellite/dish tv. waste of time and brain power. Lots of brain washing. My point being, how can teh population improve itself and its awareness, when half the gender is going brain dead. They dont have time to care for education/career/deen/society/pondering........because they are always englulfed in whats gonna happen next on some drama serial, and then once thats through, when they do have time, its spent worrying on what clothes will they design next to look like the latest bollywood queen. Women are mothers, and they have alot of influence which they do not understand or appreciate. I personally think that first we should educate our women to realise the worth of time. and time well spent.

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

its impossible, the problem with pakistan is the people themselves, no matter what laws or rules u make theyre never gonna follow em. these people only understand the stick approach. we need a cruel dictator like stalin or something. and no musharraf aint a dictator hes just a puppet

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

^

I agree.
Its not the system - its the people. Bring whatever system, people aren't gonna work according to it.
and yes, we do need someone like Stalin or Iranian Khumaini (sp?) kinda person.

I launch this thread in order to let guppies share their ideas on how Pakistan can be made a better place to live..

one motto for all ................................... i.e; LIVE & LET OTHERS LIVE.

Re: Making Pakistan a better place to live..

I REPEAT ONE OF MY SUGGESTIONS ONCE AGAIN TO EMPHASIZE: BAN RICKSHAWS/MINIBUSES/W11'S.. STOP POLLUTION!! INTRODUCE A PROPER MASS TRANSIT SYSTEM AND PLANT GREENERY AND ANTI-POLLUTION TECHNOLOGY IN THE CITIES!

Now once again is there any one else interested in suggesting for the good of your country?

A very sad story in yesterday’s Dawn edition. I really hope environmental organizations such as WWF and Greenpeace will pay more attention to Pakistan, since the govt didn’t do anything so far - it’s about time they do something about it.

By the way Pakistan’s cattle-grazing is quite sustainable; the grazers take their stock inside the forest where the cattle nip off shoots and leaves. I remember back home in Karachi too the grazer would roam his stock around the city and the cows would nip off shoots and leaves that were growing outside the home gardens’ fencing. In many developed countries forests are CLEARED and then grass is regrown on them specifically for raising cattle.
