X2 - Yup $100K won’t take you too far these days. I think the teenagers on this forum should take a home economics class. Some have absolutely no clue how the world works. I just see them getting a quick high by dissing their parents. Don’t want to name anyone, but yeah you’re such a an adult by dissing your father like that.

$ 55K ($20K Mortgage. 2500 sq ft house avg Metro area)
$ 50K ($5K Car Insurance, Home Insurance, Property Taxes)
$ 44K ($6K Petrol, Gas and Electricity etc)
$ 40K ($4k Medical Insurance)
$ 30K ($10K Day Care if wife is working as well)
$ 25K ($5k Groceries)
$ 15K ($10K Assuming a trip back home or vacation)
$ 13K ($2K Cable, Internet, Cell phone)
$ 7K ($6k 529, retirement plan, etc)
$ 3K ($4k eating out, gifts, entertainment)
I could go on but I am sure you guys get the point. Plus if someone is sending money back home, there isn’t much to play around with.
