Making dua with hands up?

I was reading namaaz and did my dua and was wondering why we put our hands together and make dua? I know this is a stupid question, but will something happen on the qiyamat day? Will the hands and fingers speak?

i usually make dua in sajda.

dua with both your hands put together in front of you -lol ( that's the way i pray)

This is how Prophet Muhammad :saw: did it. We do it because we follow his :saw: Sunnah.

we pray in sajda and rak'oo and now after namaaz is done with hands up...
