Re: Making A Man…
I was in the engineering uni weight lifting team, together with the Afghan boy Mikey whose family owns bbq tonight, at my peak would bench 300 lbs, now a bit rusty so say 240. Never been a runner but still hiking around 20k. Jason is older so he is a bit faster, running is not our main sport we are sprint kayakers, my oldest competed in Nationals and Canada games, we are hoping both brothers qualify this year. Sizes me Chest 48 height 5- 11 still can curl 60 lbs dumbells. Oldest 19 yr told me he does 40 chin ups in 2 minutes and is benching with 85 lbs dumbells. Harris at 14 is 5th fastest in the province. We are not going to invest for Olympics as it is a huge gamble. Sports is mostly to teach them about life. I see obese unhealthy, unfit young men around me, I didnt want them to be like that. Older runs a mile in less than 5 mins. People with sports background get everything easier, older coaches making 18 bucks an hour, got in fraternity because of sports, will get jobs because of it also and also life partner. He has six pack.
