Hashmi is one of the worst brands you can buy. Some of their products are nearly 50% lead. I wouldn’t trust any surma imported from India/Pakistan…it’s gotten to the point where it’s actually illegal to import surma into the US.
Also, what contacts are u wearing? Other people please also comment on what are the best lenses to use for us paki girls with dark eyes.
Cheers

I have dark brown eyes, and I lke to wear "Blue" from expressions. Its a pale blue that looks bluish gray on me...i think it looks pretty natural on me, but colored lenses will always look like colored lenses...
Also "pure hazel" by freshlook looks very natural yet different on pakistanis...
i've also worn "brown" (any brand) lenses just for hte hell of it, its not a drastic change but makes the natural color look brighter.
basically any reputable place that sells lenses should have a selection specifically for "dark eyes"
Yeah i was thinking that… wouldnt it jus all dribble out?.. I jus use kaajal in my waterline. And the contacts are called eye2eye contactz. Their enhanced blue. How ever their not that enhanced coz of the black out line in them. And they have 2 contact colours especially for dark eyes.
Thank you hunny. Its all thanks to the MAC liquid eye liner. before when i used to try this out it always used to mess up. But MAC is amaazing!! ahh i love it
Seriously I loved that video of the wedding highlights, those judging need to get out more and see the world changing. I saw nothing wrong with aunts and uncles dancing and the couple. i thought it was cute actually.
Talking about Haifa type arabic makeup i saw this interesting article which i always thought men thought anyway. too much makeup does make me want to go around with facewipes and wipe faces. read it its quite interesting.
^ Calm down love. Whats wrong with people? she had one opinion others have theres. Please jus forget it. If the bride and groom wanna snog each other on their wedding who cares! However if a bride n groom dont even wanna look at each other who cares! Concentrate on your own ****. I dont think Hina and who ever the guy is really cares wether people approve or not.
Huma your intitiled to your own opinion. Dont get angry and it has nothing to do with muslim or not.
Everyone else jus relax if you wanna dance then dance.
My dads aunty and her husband started dancing together (their about 70+) At their sons mehndi, i thought it looked silly but i didnt say anything because its THEIR life man.
i just found it ironic how u were dissing this girl and her groom yet u r the same person who opened up a thread saying that some of ur relatives are spiteful idiots and ur worried about them calling ur groom a 'takla.
Lipstick, what does my fiance's looks have anything to do with that couple who danced at their wedding?
Where is the irony? Dancing and a person's features are completely two different things
Thats so true. When i was 15-18 i wouldnt be seen dead without make up. Now i dont even care weather i have it on or not. It doesnt bother me in the slightest.
I love admiring make up tho its beautiful when its done right.
We can't just turn around and say "each to their own" and turn our backs towards what clearly is wanton lack of modesty and inappropriate behaviour. I know I don't personally know the bride but I would be embarrased to show my children my own wedding video if I behaved this way.
My fiance have a very respectful relationship towards each other. If I danced like this on my mehndi in front of all his relatives, I know full well that they would be deeply offended and regard it as cheap. I just think Muslims living in the West are pressurised to emulate and associate with the Western way of living because being religious is "outdated" or "backward". I feel sorry for the next generation to come.
Anyways, bringing it back to make-up MAC's liquid eyeliner is excellent stuff. I like the fluidline stuff as well but find it smudges too quickly. MAC's liquid eyeliner stays on for ages without any "caked on" effect. The only downside is that it does not smoulder as well as the fluidline stuff which melds beautifully with the eyeshadow.
^ Lol this thread is quite funny one is about the mehndi and one is about arabic make up sum 1 shud re-name this thread to 'confused thread' lol
Anywaysss about MAC liquid eye liner... I find it SO difficult to remove like i'm literally scrubbing it off. i use a wipe and eye make up removing liquid.
And it does smudge badly when its not dry n takes forever to remove.
Is this jus me? Or is it actually like tht?
I havnt tryed the foundation anyone have that? whats it like?

I think you might be talking about MAC LiquidLast in Point Black, it's very black.. You need an oil based eye makeup remover, baby oil should be fine. It's meant for the beach, allnighters, that kinda thing. The brush on it is terrible for control application.
i usually use pencil (makeup forever aquaeyes) but i hate that whenever i sharpen it, pieces of the lead are still sharp so they poke my eye..so i've stopped using..i've started using the cream eyeliners that come in a pot (loreal HIP and mac),a nd man i LOVE how it looks..it takes a bit more effort than the pencil (so no more doing makeup on the subway) but its worth it
only thing i have a problem with, and i am gonna sound like such a dummy here, is that i get uneven application...with one eye i get a thick, well defined line, whereas the other eye gets a softer, more smudged look because of less product on the brush. Both look nice but not at all symmetrical.
