does anyone know of someone who is damn good at makeup (bridal) but does not make you a puff pastry with icing nor extort your money.
i am getting married in lahore inshaAllah and i am in canada. i have to do my entire wedding preparation myself and am going nuts trying to figure out all the details!

i have seen brides by madeeha's, and yes, they are looking good, but when you see the group wedding pics, the bride is looking like the brightest shade of white i have ever seen. its unnatural. i hate that cake-icing look.
sakib is in lahore. my cousin got him to do her makeup on the nikkah. it was nice but very very very bright.
i am a minimal makeup girl. i dont mind nicely done eyes but i hate the idea of putting on one ton of foundation!

New Look (arsh) does minimal makeup...go for party makeup instead...i had that done for my nikah....as opposed to the bridal one they were offering.

My makeup was done by Annie "Alle Nora" in Lahore and the end result was awesome. The makeup in my snaps did not turn out as unnatural or as cake pastry stuff. It was very well done and she just enhanced my features. What I liked abour Annie is: She does not want you to look like a ghost on your wedding day, specially if you are wearing red colour. I did complain about the dark base and she said even if you want me to lighten ur tan with foundation I won´t do that, because the pics will come out horrible.
I did agree wid that and have not regret my decision since then. I will always recommend her.

i saw one of my friend's, she got her makeup from alle-nora n she looked damn pretty.... really really pretty ( n shez just OK looking... i know its bad to say this.... ) but i just want to tell that alle-nora is cool... if only i was in LHR i'ld definitely go to alle-nora :(

In Pak Elysium is the only place that I know of that offers trials...but they do pretty pastel makeup..if u're outfit is of a pastel color..they are pretty good!

bride2be, if u're confident enuff..GO for it =) as you know u're face better than any makeup artist! You'd be able to do the perfect contouring..and shading urself..
