just to warn you.. she is a pro with western makeup.. but for desi she needs references... thats what made me hesistant.. but she used her fair judgement and did not even follow the looks and she made me look soo glamorous!! eheheh so there is a headsup on that :)

how much is she charging? will she come to the venue? how much does she charge for a trial? did she come home to do the trial or does she have a parlour? sorry for asking too many qs, im still in the panic zone since i have yet to choose one :$

ive heard there is a parlour at crowne plaza hotel in sheikh zayed, rumour has it that dubai based pakistani artists like nadia khan do their grooming up from there, does anybody have any idea abt it?

have u tried crowne plaza hotel? im considering it since they managed to provide us a considerably good rate. ive attended several weddings there, its spacious, has an exclusive entrance, a majlis that can accomodate upto 65 ppl apart from the brides room which they have. Also, marriott hotel has reallyy pretty ballrooms and they r reasonable.

i m a highly qualified in makeup style and fashion , 30 y old from pakistan here i m running my own beauty saloon with all latest equipments of beauty treatments for example hair treatment skin treatment even every latest equipment i have used i also visited uk , london , dubai , itly etc , and now im intersted in permanent job in dubai

I live in Dubai, therefore no air fare needed. However if any appointments comprises for Islamabad, then, yes, and Air fare one way needs to paid and bookings need to be made at least 3 months in advance.

If you're looking for make up artists in Dubai, you might want to check Facades by Farhat. I think she does trial sessions and she is giving discounted rates for a few months because she has just moved from Canada to UAE.

Forgot to mention that my friend got her bridal make up done from her in Canada and I can't post the pictures because of Hijab issues but she looked gorgeous, not OTT and she said that she felt really comfortable with Farhat

In the mean time, I just wanted to let you know that Ghazala Mir has increased her prices this year -- She is now charging AED 6000 for two days of make-up, hair and dupatta setting.
