you could try shazia younas she did mine and she is very very good and doesnt have attitude... lubna is alright but charges 450+ and extra for travel, hair pieces etc...

It was’nt cheap then, here’s a break down:
mehndi, on my hands and feet which was £150
makeup for wedding day £250
make up for valima £250
and the rest was travel and extras
this was over 6 years ago, and she was one of the most expensive!!
I think prices have doubled since then.
ahh she sounds soo sweet, glad u had a good experience.
Im sure Joshiv probably was nice at the beginning but after getting into the guiness book of records, for the fastest mehndi artist, I think it got to her head, I think she is goin for the new record " most brides u can do in a day "

Hey my friend is getting her make up done by Ambreen for her wedding in Feb... she is absolutely amazing and such a lovely girl too definitely recommend her!!!

Do NOT go to Joshiv. She always turns up late and is a right cow, does not listen...urgh!

I would try MAC. I reckon they do a better job than most Asian bridal artists.
Exactly what I heard too from my best friend. She tried bullying her into making her eyebrows thinner (telling her she would look horrible without it - and trust me this is the most beautiful girl i have ever seen - she didnt need to) and made her look like a drag queen...
Where in the UK r u? It depends on where u r. If u read that old thread abt flying a make up artist in from pakistan theres loads of different make up artists from London who r in that thread. I used one called Fariha but shes based in London. Some1 wrote a thread on here recently that they'd done their training from Ather Shehzad. Have a look on the threads under wedding and im sure its there. If ur in Manchester my friend who had her Valima there got her make up done by Rehana who is very popular in manchester and i think she trained from either Ather Shezad or Madeehas. It depends on where u r but check out those threads.

I'm sure my cousins wife used Fariha for her wedding, she looked really good.
Also try Iram or Gini , both are very good.

Try Kanzah Beauty...shes really good..she did my makeup and my elder sisters and is very understanding...shes not like some makeup artists who get in a strop if u advise her on something...shes very understanding and advises you back on what she think is right..
she travels everywhere too..
she has a website..do check it out and also her name is Ghazala...definitely would recommend a trial 2 c how she goes...
