no, nt had a trial yet, phone naveeda up but shes booked on dat day, joshive too much, she takes £600 on da wedding day and £100 4 the trial, n lubna ive heard bad things about her so im thinking of nt going 4 my trail with her which is next week, i phone nina haider and im thinking of going to her.

Naveeda is one of the best for asian makeovers imho. She is based in Ilford.

I would most definitly recommend Lubna Rafiq her work is simply amazing she is one of the leading make up artists in the uk… My sister had her trial done from her & wow!

Best thing is to give them a call and ask for a consultation or trial. Everyone seems to have had different experiences with artists, some very good some very bad.

Great, i'll have a look at all these sites and call around. Does anyone have any pictures of real bridal makeup from any of the above? Lubna? Naveeda? It would be good to see actual brides who have had their makeup done by them.

Do NOT go to Joshiv. She always turns up late and is a right cow, does not listen...urgh!
What type of look do you want?
I would try MAC. I reckon they do a better job than most Asian bridal artists.

Faces by Avina is really good, she done my cousins. Also, Patti Panue is really good too. I have booked her for my wedding this year.

the thing i have noticed with all the MUA including Naveeda, and Joshiv is they come and get you ready on which is meant to be the most important day of ur life. and they rush you, and tell you about the next bride they have to go and get ready after you:smack: which makes you feel tht you are totally being rushed on…
