my cousin tried lubna for a trial, and honestly lubna made my cousin look like a clown, and when we kept saying to her how we wanted our make up to look she kept saying she was the expert. she had a REALLY bad attitude. and when my cousin asked she wanted the pakistani look as display on the website she kept saying no she couldnt. also im a little suspicious about her being trained in pak by diplex because my cousin was talking about how she loved how diplex does make up, and she did not once mention she was trained by them. dont know about anyone else but has a really bad experiance for lubna

Wow thats kinda suprising. Like i said ive neva known a bride to use her. Just seen her work in Asiana magazine. Like ive said i used Fariha and i posted my pics on here abt a month or so ago. For those ppl who wanted her number i posted her number on here. Fariha totally listened to what i wanted and when i showed her ideas from her own work she'd done in the magazine, she told me what wud suit me and what wudnt. She does what u want. One of my friends went to get her engagement make up done with naveeda cos she cudnt get fariha and she said Naveeda was very pushy. Howeva one my friends had her wedding and valima make up done by naveeda and she was very happy with her. Its all abt choice, what kind of look u want and who u want to do ur make up. I absolutely wanted Fariha cos even tho shes expensive, i know shes brilliant at what she does.

I am looking for a bridal make up artist to do my wedding make up for next summer. I am in South East, (UK) so am looking for someone based in London or alternatively willing to travel to Kent. Please could you give me any personal recommendations of make up artists you have used or have heard positive feedback about. Contact details/ approx prices for the artists would also be highly appreciated.
Any horror stories would also be appreciated, at least I will know who to avoid lol.

wow, cool im in seconds thoughts about allenora after reading tht thread. i checked out lubna rafiqs website today and her work looks gud (www.lubnarafiq.com). she charges £400 for the wedding day. if any one has had any experiance with her then please do let me know how u found her.

For my wedding I had a professional freelance makeup artist her name was Riffat Khan I believe she has a website as well but trust me her work is much better than what is portrayed on that site
She travels all over the world. You might want to email her and ask her if she will be in London around the time of your wedding.
