Hi rubywoo, surprised you found Iram's make-up oldskool, did you go to her for a trial. Just seen Ambreen's website , her work looks good, just find websites a bit decieving because the re-touching.

Search for bridal channel or dulhan tv, i'm not sure which one it is but most my aunts and uncles wives have had their wedding makeup done from them.

i'm london based emailed lubna's shes booked also she reccomended one of her artists shes trained for my barat? naveeda's eye makeup does not appeal to me that much also i find moona baigs work looks really nice, but shes charging too much from leeds! i've got a trial booked with another makeup artist, lets see the thing is I had trials with ambreen and Dil i loved them both i wanted ambreen for barat and dil for my walima day but both booked i guess its hard once you have seen the standard of makeup they do!
@ Amreen sorry i never ment it in a bad way but i ment her brides on her website look really typical. i guess shes been doing it a long time and does that type of look.

Rubywoo, that's ok , I just wondered because we have used her on family occasions and her work is good, maybe she should put some new pictures on her website.

Hi Everyone,
Im getting married 27th March 2010 and recently got let down by my make up arists, UzmaBeauty though I still recommend her like someone else said, she's lovely, really helpful, did my hair/make up before and i loved it but unfortunately our times didnt work out!
Anyway i'm considering a trial With Dil Matharu... anyone heard of him? Is he recommended?
Also Seema Syed has offered me £350 with trial, any comments about her?
Im keener to do with Dil as he lives near me, but dont want to waste money on trials for both of them!

hey young bride, I can vouch Dil Matharu he used to work by word of mouth i think, hes really good i've seen his real brides and they are stunning! I know he and anbreem are expensive.
seemas good also when Dil and ambreen were both booked ambreen reccomended seema to me, I think their sisters? but she does makeup, too. I know what you mean by wasting money on trials some are expensive!

hey try Gini bhojal? but i heard form Dil matharu (when i enquired i asked whether he know of mehndi artsits and said gini does mehndi but shes stoppped doing it, but try kiran?? its lovemehndi i've booked her for my barat day. For makeup I would use Ambren or Dil Matharu

Thanks Rubywoo, Dil's work does look fab though I havent seen his real brides.
Im going for his trial which is £85... i know extortionate rite! but he lives in my area so its more convenient than seema syed... so fingers crossed it goes well!
Also Dil went to school with me so he's giving me a little discount (still expensive!!)
