Ok so I was at the MAC store today and picked up a sample of the strobe cream to see what the fuss was about. :P
You can use the strobe cream--- or lotion for people with oilier skins---in the following ways
-You can use it under your foundation for an all over muted glow--skip the T-zone
-Over your foundation, on your cheeks, on its own.
-Over your foundation, on your cheeks, and under your blusher.
-Mixed in with your foundation, for a more diluted glow.
It gives a dewy finish.
If you use a primer, you would first use the primer, then the moisturiser. After that, if you want your cheeks to glow, then you can use it over your foundation, and under your blusher, or with your foundation, or before your foundation.
Depends on how glowy/shimmery you want to be. Try out the different options to see what you like best.
MAC has created Strobe Cream and Strobe Liquid. Strobe Liquid is a much lighter formula and is an alternative for those that find the Strobe Cream to be too rich/heavy. The first link below is a youtube video of a girl describing/demonstrating use of Strobe Liquid. The SECOND link is a youtube video of a girl demonstrating how to apply STROBE CREAM along with other MAC products. Hope this helps you guys out.
You’re talking about the girl in the green shirt in the second link right? I totally agree, I think she has gorgeous skin. And even though the desi girl in the first video uses Strobe Light (the lighter version), I noticed that her face has a nice glow as well.
Ima gonna get me some strobe cream pretty soon!
PSquared, try out Strobe Cream/Strobe Liquid, and use either to get that dewy glowing look for your wedding day. People are gonna wonder how the bride got her luminous skin,
