I could be wrong on that. I think Khula is something that is a big plus for a muslim woman where she can initiate the divorce and get it even if the husband is not willing. So I apologize for misinformation.
In short, Islam has offered the Muslim woman some unequalled rights: she can end the marriage through Khula’ and she can sue for a divorce. A Muslim wife can never become chained by a recalcitrant husband.
