Re: Maids...
^^ you are right K337,same with me
My "help" he's a guy so he can't be a maid..has been with us for 21 years! And he's a one man army..cook, plumber, electrician, darzi, cleaner, gardener u name it! He's Mashallah fantastic..in every way! And he's become a part of the family now.
But when I was in Lahore, I used to tell my mother that instead of supervising the maids it was so much easier to clean urself!
Re: Maids...
I dont think there is anything wrong with havin maids, but dont rely on them doin everything, cause I think it can make a person lazy and to dependant on someone else.
and if people did all the work themselves they wont be any jobs for them, and alot of them are greatful for the work.
Its the same as in a office situation, u dont see the directer, kissing up to the cleaners if that was the case it will get very complecated
if u do be too nice to them they get a bit too big for their boots, they are there to do a job!!
Re: Maids...
maids maids we dont have any here so wen we go pk its kinda difficult for us to sit bk n let some1 else do the work , although the maid we have works in 2 other houses and loves to gossip like she will go to one house listen to their stories or waterver n tell the other house and so on
OMG! so that means the funny tone in my post says nothing? i actually want to kill them?!?...OK Whatever you want to make out of it. But its ridiculous how one can manuplate your post making you look bad. So all of these who agreed with me or have their own stories to tell are absolutely horrible people.
I think its better we end this argument here.
ok watever…
Re: Maids...
My relatives in pak had a little girl come in to do cleaning, i asked them why....my aunt explained to me that if they keep her, at least they can make sure she's not being abused, as opposed to letting her work elsewhere, where the family can abuse her.
Re: Maids...
what do all young girls in pak get abused??????
is she gonna give shelter to all of them??
sorry if its sounds a little rude, but I think she proberly wants to justify her reasons for child labour!
yeah yeah…agaye billi theley se baher. nothing better to say to cover up the truth ![]()
well if you don’t want others to manipulate your sincere and caring sentiments then try a bit harder to express them in a much better way. not every one is an Einstein like you. :halo:

Re: Maids...
I need a maid... :(
Re: Maids...
Ive never seen anyone in my family abuse the maids...ours in Pak were pretty nice and my family took good care of them because they were less fortunate. Every wedding we had, they got new clothes to wear to the weddings. Every Eid they got new clothes, shoes, tons of food and every Thursday my nani sent huge amounts of food to their homes because we did Niaz for my Nana.
But then again, I was only visiting...its not like I went for long and actually had a chance to see such horrors. We treat ours here very well too. She gets presents on holidays and recently when my sis moved across the country and didnt want most of her stuff, we made sure the maid got whatever she wanted for free before we sold/donated it.
get lost…thats all i have got to say to weirdos like u.
i say bring on the Maids......
LOL!
i say bring on the Maids......
yeah sure it would be great. bring them on but watch out!
you wanna make sure you don't get one of those vengeful poor party leaders robinhood of the theives type!
Re: Maids...
why is having a maid such a big deal peeps? they need a job and we need to get a job done, so wat's the problem everyones gotta work and earn cash, and yeah u gotta treat them accordingly, so yeah Bring on the Maids....
Re: Maids...
maid is a servant? she works for you she gets paid. same as most of us , we work and get paid for it. if we dont like anything we also say apna bandobast kar lo. we say it in english and resign. we have degrees in our pockets so it is alright for us to say it but not for them? righttt.
before they were treated like dirt now its so much better we offer them the same food? condescending ?
they are thieves and stuff ? stealing is wrong but so is treating humans like sub humans.all the people that whine about the maids and their attitude i wish they spend a day in the shoes of their maid.
seems more like a husband than a help
