I am hoping this will assist girls abroad that were in a position such as mine. I wanted to leave a quick message for potential customers who may read this and who are desperately looking for the perfect cards for their wedding day.
You may be in a position where you are considering buying any sort of cards overseas, i.e. wedding or birthday cards etc, therefore I would like to highly recommend and direct you to a lady called Mahjabeen (Mahj - the founder of Mahj Designs).
I had originally found a review of her work on another website I believe, and became very intrigued with her work. I ordered my wedding cards at the end of December, and have just received them - given that the holiday break interrupted and delayed matters. I am ever so delighted I received my cards way before I originally thought I would be getting them as I was getting quotes from UK based card suppliers with a timescale of 6-8 weeks! Astonishing! Whereas I got my cards between 3-4 weeks (given the holiday delay) from OVERSEAS!
Seriously guys, this girl has put alot of time and dedication into this small business and I am so impressed with her and just want to shout out about how good she is! She is a Newyork graduated girl that now resides in Karachi. Her initial desire to start up card making came about after her own wedding when she had designed her own cards and awed her guests with her intricate work! She then designed various cards for friends weddings that following year as a gift and from that they became high in demand and very popular. A year later she decided to convert her hobby into a business! Good on her too, because she has made me and many other girls abroad that are looking for unique cards very HAPPY! Her level of customer service and reliability has been second to none and to top it off her prices are very reasonable. I was apprehensive to contact Mahj in the beginning as after reviewing her website and gallery of cards in great detail my initial thought to myself was …
“Wow these cards are absolutely frikken gorgeous, I will never be able to afford these!”
oh boy was I wrong! I am now a proud owner of 50 amazingly, NEAT, designed wedding cards that will wow my guests to no end! She was so good with accommodating with my budget and made sure she gave me truthful feedback about the end result when reducing prices. Her high level of professionalism was impressive as I had constant communication with her (DAILY) and she had sent me various “drafts and samples” of wording etc for my FINAL approval before the production until I was completely satisfied! So happy with the end result!
No, I am not a part of Mahj Designs in any sort of way or being paid to say this lol… I am just an EXTREMELY happy client and would recommend everybody to consider using her if you require any sort of cards.

Just to let you know my budget was £2.00 per card and additional inserts were extra + envelopes. She was able to accommodate my needs very well! I wish I could attach a picture but unfortunately I have no clue how to do so! I ordered the “slab” invitation!
Actually I found her on the net too and I really liked her work too but when I wrote an email to her she never gave me any reply back and that was back in dec too
^^ Yah her work is really good but her prices are on the high side for pakistan. Her prices range from 150PKR to about 400PKR per card. She's very good with responding to emails. The card I really liked (it was very simple - nothing extravagant) and was coming upto about $2/card + shipping.. but I know someone who can do it in that range here too, so I opted out of getting it from her. I asked her to reduce the price since I was getting 300 cards, but I guess she spends a lot of time on the card cause she said she will not reduce the price any further. Her work is definetly very good!
The quality is top notch, but Spending near enough £300-£500 on wedding card invites which are eventually going to be thrown away by most seems like a frivolous choice. But again I do give out my props to the designer she is great!
See I have a small guest list 220 max - and so didn't require many cards at all. I actually only ordered 50! So I spent £130 on cards alone, and additional for P+P which wasn't much! She used DHL as it's more secure etc.
Im new to this forum but want to tell u that i ordered my Engagement mithai boxes, wedding cards and wedding favors and now just ordered by baby announcements from her and she is Amazing!! her work is so perfect and the workmanship is incomparable to any ones elses that i have seen ! i wish i would post pictures up for you all to see.. and she is not expensive if you really want to make an impression on your guests.. her stuff are gifts ... like momentos that people hold on to for years! Love Love Love her level of professionalism and it seems like she even responds to emails in her sleep!! hahah ... would definately recommens her!
I totally agree with these girls, I had 150 cards ordered for my friends wedding as she gave me this job and mashalah they turned out amazing!Mahjabeen is so quick to reply and goes out of her way to ensure you get what you want. I am a very satisfied customer and inshalah will definitely order again x
Hey guys! Just wanted to post my experience working with Majh design. I ordered my mayoon, mehndi, and reception cards from her. It was an absolute pleasure working with her as she was very professional each and every step of the way. Any requests/changes I had were dealt with, promptly. She is willing to work within your budget and perhaps best of all, the invites are absolutely breathtaking. Thanks Mahjabeen for all your hard work and dedication and your cards themselves speak sheer volume of your talent in designing! =)
Aaliyah, she is very good with shipping, her packages usually come through DHL and within 2 days.. so very easy.
My cousin in the U.S ordered from her and got her boxes in 2 days so dont worry about the process... she makes the whole process sooo easy! U will smile..
