Dang I just found out that bhopalwala and bulgun are 45 minutes outside of sialkot city( wikimapia). People have even put up pix of a few key spots including the road that goes to bulun. Very accurately depicted in the drama. Tempted to find out about shano’s family coz I bet they still live there. Maybe I should drive by with a camera: p. I wonder how they feel about this.
BTW Khalil sb has such an overly inflated ego. Does he really think we are stupid enough to believe that all of shanos family including her hubby were asking for an apology from him. I bet he rubbed his success in their faces to make them feel sorry for rejecting him

The Pakistani Romeo and Juliet lol. Tbh Khalil or Adnan Malik could not act at all in the first few episodes but he has come on along a lot since then. Mahira was awesome like usual. The drama had a lot of exaggerated twists and turns and I feel like the latest episode was fully rushed with no clear explanation of what happened to the other characters.
Ngl though, the last episode did make me tear up a bit, especially when ‘Dactar saab’ was like ‘Shaano margi hai Khalil’

apologies but the drama ended up being so crap. Although they depicted the village life accurately the storyline was so confusing and hated Mahira in this.

The author really echoes my own thoughts about this sordid story. The real victim of this saga was Rasheeda. Raped at 15 by her fiancé and then by her 35 year old brother in law, she was blamed and vilified instead of the two men. She never recovered from these ordeals even though the former event she continued to reminisce fondly ( not realizing that she was a victim of statutory rape at the hands of her 20 year old fiancé). I don’t expect them village folks to understand the concept of statutory rape but in this day and age, khaleel ur Rahman qamar should very well be aware of what it means. His khaala Rasheeda was the victim in this horrific story and NOT him. At least his mother realized as such albeit on her death bed. Shame on him for portraying Rasheeda as the monster she wasn’t.
