when i was in Pakistan i never preferred to buy things that says “Made in Pakistan”. but after i moved abroad i get so overwhelmed and delighted to see things that are “Made in Pakistan”.
so before buying anything do you see its manufacturing location?
and if it turned out to be “Made in Pakistan” how do you respond to it?
most of us are migrated from Pakistan, so is there any shift you see in your responses (like mine…or you just dont care)?
and many of us are also born in these abroad countries, so how do they respond to these “Made in Pakistan” labels?
what kind of labels you guys usually prefer to see?
ps. me and my sibz often plays games of guessing “where it (that thing) is made” kinda games…so do you guys also every played this kinda game.
ps2. ya…i just saw something, labeled “Made in Pakistan”, so i was triggered to start this thread : D

Yes Towels, T-Shirts, Soccer balls, Surgical Instruments....Basmati Rice all are pretty good quality from Pakistan....:)
business is all about psychology.
i think it was in taiwan where people refuse to buy some cellphone brand cuz it said "made in taiwan" or something...and they wanted "Made in America" label.
writing the child labour essay was no fun.
now you may call those games but to me those products were the product of a child's tears, sweat, blood, and emotions.
so when I see something that says "made in Pakistan" I cry like a girl.
haha
I am on the same page. When I was in Pakistan, I preferred things made in the US. When I moved here, when I see things made in Pakistan, I prefer to buy those for 2 reasons:
1) To support the country economically
2) They are not bad quality.
Products made for Pakistani people are mostly bad quality but when they are produced to export, they go through more inspections because they don't want to lose their international customers that are paying them more than Pakistani customers. So they make sure that the quality of products is good.

Yes I prefer things made and/or grown in Pakistan or Bangladesh…especially condiments…achar, sherbat, spices, T-Shirts, Towels etc…it is simply a preference…also they are the best…:k:
wood furtniture, brass, silver urns, decorative matee keye ghereye, cotton & specific clothes - (chunree, ajrek, susi), cane baskets, marble finish decor are made in Pakistan & are the best in own right.
pick up any football or motorcycle jackets they will most definatly be made in pakistan, most surgical equipment also even though it wouldnt say made in pakistan on them. sialkot is the china of pakistan, only if other citys were like them pakistan will be like china.
i Saw a $400 leather jacket that was “made in pakistan.” i was happy to see it but at the same time, i laughed b/c i know in Pakistan it wouldn’t cost $400.
