M i being paranoid?

Re: M i being paranoid?

grossly disgusting. I would slap the boy and tell him to learn some manners :D

If your friend thinks that being rude in public is OK by her brother then it might be best that she visits you rather than you going to her house.

Re: M i being paranoid?

HUH??? Am I missing something here?? I would think being a good person goes hand in hand with minding your manners in public...

Re: M i being paranoid?

Please read my previous post. I am posting it again below.

I take objection to this whole idea that just because you are a friend you are free to tell someone else how to bring up thier kids/brother. As a friend you are free to tell your friend something about herself, but people related to her should be OFFLIMITS ... unless she asks for advice. Obviously in this case she is definately not asking for advice. There are many other ways to show that you feel close to a person. Interfering in thier relationships and family lives is not that way.

And yes I have seen lots of desi kids who have lots of "tameez" but have never been taught (can you teach that or do you imbibe that... I wonder) generosity of spirit. Racism, elitism and classism and double standards are rampant in desi society, and makes for very ugly (in a rhetorical sense) children and citizens. This is an observation for both here in the US and in the Subcontinent. Heck, just look at some of the forums!
