Fewdays back I made a thread on ghous Ali shah visiting liyari n invited Uzair to join PMLN.....and now the result is out in open....he don feel secure in Sindhi cause of PPP..

in india we have a saying, if you draw your sword then it should have blood on it before it is put back in the "myan". otherwise no one will respect it.
similarly police has no option but to win the case. if this operation fails, then no policemen will dare to go to lyari alone for any purpose. it will be a accepted fact that that field belongs to the mafia. they should not have started the operation if they didnt have any plan. looks like they didnt have any clear objective of the operation. if they dont achieve their supremacy then forget about that land. they just messed the power balance.
only face saving for the govt is to call the rangers and do some face saving drill.

What a victory that would be for the goons. Liyari has become Karachi's North Waziristan.
That is very true. I would say that it is wrong to call these criminals belonging to PPP. They are there only because of one crazy man, Mirza, who distributed hundreds of thousands of arm "licenses" to teach MQM a lesson. That is the outcome of his evil policy.
We know that every party has weapons in their possession in Karachi. But nobody uses them so blatantly to commit crimes against common people in the city except PAC. While extortion and kidnappings were present always, but the Lyari gangs took these crimes to new heights. So much so that traders and business community had to go on strike against them. Every community living around PAC hotbed suffered kidnappings, killings, extortion and other crimes; regardless of whether they belonged to MQM or PPP or no party at all.
After the operation in 90s, I think MQM learned a lesson that violence and weapons will only cause problem for it instead of being helpful. I hope PAC learns the same. Even though I somehow doubt that.

I think government should stand steadfast against any such armed rebellion anywhere in the country. Be it Karachi, or be it Waziristan.
there were many associations who came with these stuff but not able to reach inside the affected area,gud that someone got their well neded..
becuz of the fact that ppl of CID were doing this Op,they knew the targets,criminals n their associations,on the other hand rangers don knew much I guess…

Police believes that BLA, Taleban and the gang war criminals are holed up in Lyari.
The IG Sindh believes that they might achieve their objectives within 24 hours.
Whats the situation of Lyari today?

In my opinion, police should resolve matter by contacting uzari balouch. he is influential person in lyari.

muqa bhai: right now, Uzair Balouch is forming his own party. is operation legal attempt to kill local leadership from lyari?
PPP wants bilawal to secure vote bank of lyari and it cant possible until Uziar's presence.
In my opinion, He could resolve issues more sincerely then any other imported MNA.

But Uzair had a very bad and criminal record. I think we don't need another Thunder squad and MQM type politics. We can't afford it anymore.

muqa bhai: it is beginning, and time will make them mature like MQM is now less vulnerable as it used to be in 90's, but there were genuine reason of their act. gov't doing same thing against lyari, instead of including them in political process. there are many things which he did in lyari. should we ignore.
lets make one point that local can solve problems more effectively and efficiently. a person who lives in islamabad, could not feel the amount of stress/situation/anxiety/problems which local people are currently facing.

its not an option, uzair, pappu etc needs to be taken out. they have head money on them to begin with.
i still think this operation was a bad idea from the start. it is only going to replace one gang lord from another.
