The serial I am Chief Coordinator for..besides doing a major role also, is based on AGHA HASAN ABEDI's life and achievements. It is planned to be telecast by mid-2009 to end on 7th November...2009 the 50th anniversary of UBL which was created by Agha Saheb on 7th November, 1959 ( I was 10 years old then..and i joined UBL on 18th June-1974 after serving in HBL from Sept-71 through 17th June-74...when Agha Saheb spotted me and offered a higher grade as Manager ) We expect to record the serial from 5th Jan-09 upon my return from Dubai, Glasgow and Toronto I am proceeding by 13 Dec for recording of another serial of Lahore based production house.
Recording of serial on Agha Saheb will be held majorly in Karachi-Islamabad and at Abudhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Luxembourge, London and Manchester....in Mid Feb-09.
Three directors are under consideration; Marina, Ahson Taalish and Ahsan Zaidi....let's see who gets to understand what we really want.
I hope Shakeel agrees to play Agha Saheb's character....

Out of the 29 awards...25 of them were so predictable! Everyone knows who's winning :S But I agree JAL, Bilal Lashari deserved to win... and Neha winning? sigh Ameer Zeb is nice-looking though!
Its hilarious that not many people know all these people - and these people who are invited to the show, who organize the show, who get the awards and so forth have like a camp of their own the camp of those who are dieing to be known and want to make believe that they are know/famous keep on giving and getting awards to/from each other each and every year ever since they have come up with this party ki idea thats its not even funny anymore. I would not call this and event or award function to and from the deserving and talented people. Its like a party thrown by one or two people for their friends and no one except their friends are invited and the prizes are distributed to who ever played a better friend or in other words a better suck up to the host the whole year to get the invited and then the award.
not many of the awards given seem to be thought about or done in right way, Khuda kay liyeh people got the award just because the movie was so hyped - Iman didn't act good no matter what people say and how many disagree with me, making an accent by effort and having no expressions while the movie doing good should not be the reason to give an award. shaans acting was good (and i was surprised that a person who just did a lot of jutt gunda acting by standing stiff in a lugi while huge women like sana and saima and resham danced around him could act like this). Fawad was good to he should have gotten a award as well if he didn't. rest were given out because of the groupism, friendship etc.

Shaan's acting is soo monotonous! Fawad was like a breath of fresh air..I agree that Iman wasn't all that :S but when u see the other movies..and actresses..she just stood-out.
The only fair awards seemed to be in music..JAL and Bilal Lashari.. but it's no breaking news the LSA's are just an occassion to dress-up as it's the one and only mega-event Pakistan has.. if u ever watch the Ptv awards u'd prolly sleep within the first 2 mins!
What bugs me is the same artists performing on the same songs and they don't even sing live! The actresses dance to Bollywood numbers.. nothing creative or new!
