I've heard iman ali and shan had a fight during LSA. Apparently, shan was badmouthing shoaib mansoor. he said he was responsible for the success of KKL and shoaib mansoor shouldn't be given all the credit. Iman Ali got annoyed by his comments and told him off. she said Shoaib mansoor deserves all the credit for making such a successful film and he has proven to be a savior for our industry .Shan kept on boasting that SM cashed in on his name to sell the film. In the end, Iman ali walked off in a huff..courtesy of Khabrain akhbaar.

My take on this whole argument is that film is a diretcor's medium so SM deserves all the credit for KKL. If shan is such a 'big' star then why was KKL his only success ? No doubt shan is a great actor but If it weren't for shoaib mansoor, nobody would have bothered to notice him in those gujjar type films.

They're silly, everyone knows beforehand who's winning! They all belong to camps and support each other! Freiha, Tapu, Deepak camp...Ather Shahzad, Iman, Umar Sayeed camp..etc etc! Funny! People just like to dress-up and attend no one takes them seriously!

frieha plays 'Ini mini miny moe' to decide who will win. chaar designers hain dau make-up artists so the LSA trophy keeps on circulating back and forth.
I don't find anybody stylish in these stylish in these awards. all I see is amina haq parading with her girlfriend ouch boyfriend ammar bilal LOL who probably deem themselves as the angelina and brad pitt of pakistan.and btw according to amina haq ammar bilal is the most handsome man in pakistan!:CareBear:

karachi sunday market has more style than LSA .. landay ki rani frieha and ather shahzadi('ather' + 'shahzad' = cough cough )
and the landa brigade have formed a mutual admiration society.probably tapoo brings his home camera and shoots the whole show which geo ,the international bhikari, promotes as pakistan's oscars.

i think you included some of the winners of lsa 2007...besides LSA 2008 HAS BEEN CALLED OFF LONG TIME AGO!!! there was no lsa this year..

Nah the Lux Style Awards did happen about a day ago at The Golf Club in Karachi... they're just not fun anymore :S the one in 2005 held in Dubai was really nice though.. now everything is predictable! People just want to dress-up and be photographed on the red carpet..I don't blame them either LSA's are the only "posh" awards Pakistan has besides the The Muziq Awards!

ek baat batao sab.....yeh film ki (best film, actor, actress) category kis khushi mein thi aur upar se is category ko awards bhi de diye (shaan, iman etc)......i mean best film category tou is tarah se banayi hai jaise kkl ke saath 10/12 films release hui thi aur un sab main se kkl best thi......kkl was very good but it luks like this category was made just to give those particular awards to the film.....best ka matalb hi yeh hota hai ke 5/6 or more things r being compared and out of them only 1 will get the best title.......since kkl was the only good movie that came that yr so it cant have any comparison......i think for next lsa they will do the same thing for ramchand pakistani....

well havenot seen lsa yet so cant comment on how they were..........

Waise bhi agarr mein faarigh bhi hota...phirr bhi na jaata!! Its all humbug!! that now is quite evident!!! Abb sirf naak ka mas'ala hai ke...
ye award ka silsila jaari hai!!! otherwise it has lost its value after the third one...years back!!!
