Yes, I meant the smell of desi food. I don’t find it offensive of course but I can understand if someone else wouldn’t like it because there are certain foods that I can’t stand. I wouldn’t have any hesitation if everyone were bringing something or other and there were diff smells, but everyone goes out to lunch…sometimes ya just don’t wanna stand out.

I hear ya! I’d do the same.

Strong smells kinda suck especially during pregnancy (hands up whose pregnant?) and when I used to work out of the house previously I’d have my lunch and actually ask everyone what they were eating so I could run out of the room if the smells would be offensive to my nose.

Saying that I wish more people thought like you Sara, it would make life easier for everyone.
