What LR did was unacceptable and despicable and even if the payment wasn’t ready - she shouldn’t have laid a finger on the bride. As a general word of caution though…don’t make your vendors ask you for payment. Its weird because both parties know how it all works. If the MUA has to repeatedly ask you for payment she has a right to, it embarrasses her. Yes, she should always be professional and maintain decorum but that goes both ways. I did a wedding once where the bride and her family made me wait…and wait and wait and wait and wait. And then chase them to pay their balance all over the hotel. Oh and it was the first day of Ramadan along with that a 5am Indian wedding. First and last time that happened. People are tired, they’ve been working, they did what they were hired to do…its time to pack up and go home for us…and time for you to party it up!
