What I learned that he with some other officers was supervising the breaching operation of building walls, when he got fired upon by retards from inside, resulting in injuries and now one shahadat. (according to ISPR)

Just can't imagine what the poor guys family muct be going through. Army officers nowadays come from backgrounds where they are the ticket of their entire family to the next rung of the social/economic ladder. Some poor hardworking chap, the light of his family and thier hope extingiushed by the senselessness of those much lesser than him. May Allah shower his mercy on him and his family and give them strength to see this ordeal through.

Once, it happened to me to. I wrote something and then edited it, but later found that it was quoted by someone (who was adamant that he would not edit even when I requested), so I had to ask Haris to delete my quoted post. (Though here I believe that you wont need to go to Mod as I am sure all would be helpful)
Yaar, we are humans and mistakes is nature of humans. So, its OK. We all make mistakes but as long as we realise it and try to amend mistakes, we can hope that mistakes would be forgiven.

I think this is a wake up call for Pakistan to quit this crap about English medium schools vs. Urdu medium schools vs. Madrassahs vs. No education at all.
This division is all about conserving class divisions in Pakistan. The rich can't stand their kids to be sent to the same school as their maasi's kid? Maybe the rich need a good kick on their arse. Free Mandatory government public education up to matric level is ABSOLUTELY necessary! Give the kids some sort of degree/diploma/training in the end that can get them SOME employment.
Instead, these na-kaam's have nothing else to do but kill perfectly good soldiers of their own army, kidnap civilians, beat police officers, and brainwash women into a life of brutality.

Why not? :) All humans belong to Allah and when they are gone they are gone to Allah. We all will one day return to Allah. 'Inna lillahay wa inna alahay rajayoon' (To him we belong and to him shall be our return) is admittance of believe on Allah by those that hear any news of loss, whatever that loss may be (it is show of Imaan on Allah by those who hear such news). That is what I know.
