FairyTale dear that is such a filmy way of looking at things. I agree it could happen but usually these dialogues are not exchanged in real life. Love builds on respect. That is what long lasting marriages have. Respect and love. Love comes after.

ok I admit, you are funny .. but there a glitch in this scenario. If he respects you, he will never hurt your feelings so either he is not going to do any two timings or worst, he is not going to confess :p

you know i always thought respect came first. but now i think No, love comes first and then u start respecting the other person even if he has some faults, bad habits, bad past or whatever but you do want to respect him, listen to him and do things the way he likes because you love him.
So love is the first and main factor which sows the seed of respect.
In pure arranged marriages, where the boy n gal has hardly seen n talked to each other, there i would say yes relationship starts with respect and love follows.

That is the point, only love cannot stop you from hurting someone's feeling, although if you respect than you will never two time.
