I am talking about ground realities and the reality is that those people are not criminals like people label them to be. They are innocent hard working people who want a better life for their family.

History has shown us that there has never been an ideal immigration law or policy. World politics has shown that if government gets involved, it only makes things worse current U.S laws and what happened in Europe is an example. People think government in France did not get involve but the fact is they did and demise the immigration crowd now they actually have turned them into criminals and people who are really angry and trouble makers.

I give you another example; look at last amnesty in America, how many of those people ended up in streets? How many of them percentage wise did not assimilate? Right now they own restaurants, motels or gas stations and their kids go to medical school. A typical result of amnesty,

The point is America is rich and still has lot to offer and give. They still have many jobs available for people and business want to expand. If given opportunity, those illegal are only going to help rather take jobs away.

You cannot put a lid on immigration, in human history people move because of need and political situation. Making a law, fence and government involvement only makes things difficult and causes trouble for the host.

well if we ignore the fact that they commited crimes by breaking laws by gettin in illegally and working illegally, then yes many of these illegals are decent hard working people.

yes but there are good immigration policies and there are bad, so lets not shoot or ideal, lets shoot for fair and practica.

errrr if a govt does not get involved i immigration policy who does? mcdonalds? the issue in france is less of immigration and more of acceptance of immigrants by locals, a completely different situation.

not all, ask someone who deals with poverty stricken desi households. Also a different demographic as well.

yes it has a lot to give, but illegals are eot doing anyone a favour, as I said anyone from any third world nation will give their left nut to be in US and make their life better and in the process be a cog in the big machine. Let people come, letthem work, letthem immigrate, but legally..

This seems to be the main difference between you and me, you think illegal immigration is a problem and I think it is a result of wrong policies of the government. I have given you reasons and examples how these people are not bad and are just labeled criminals and you have not given me a single indication or fact that illegal immigration destroys a country.

Next day they can change the law and say that these immigrants have the right to work and the whole argument is insipid. The fact of the matter is more than 11 million illegal are present because the system is not based on work rather money. If they had allowed people to work than they would not risk their lives and come to this country. They would not stay underground in a country like America and leave whenever they want. Most of the immigrants come here for money and future and most of them when stay, spend heavily in economy. Just to criminalize them on work makes no sense and will not end the problem.

You can enforce all immigration policies but the fact is in next ten years the same problem will balloon all over again, which will happen when the government deals with it right now. If this was employer based immigration system and the government job was only to take see and regulate fairness, you will have industries providing balance wages and health care and people will not complain about these immigrants taking advantages of hospitals and school.
