I’ve always heard that it is easier to lose weight when you have a friend or family member who is also trying to lose weight. Well none of my friends or family members are on a diet right now but I really want to lose weight so I was wondering if anyone on this site would like to be my weight loss partner. I know we wouldn’t be able to work out together for obvious reasons lol but maybe we could talk about how many calories we ate, if we had any slip ups, how we feel etc. Let me know if any of you are interested!

Yay! I used to be so good with my workouts. I used to workout for at least an hour everyday but I’ve gotten so lazy I also have been eating way more calories than I used to. I haven’t gained weight (God knows how) but I’m scared that if I continue this way I will! I guess I need someone to keep me in check haha! I was thinking we could do something where we either start a thread or pm about what we ate during the day, how long we worked out for etc. What do you think?
Re: Losing weight is easier when you have someone to do it with you…
Aww hun, don’t worry. I’m sure if you start working out again you’ll lose the weight in no time! InshAllah we all will if we put some hard work into it. I think a huge part of it for me is the emotional aspect. When I see people who are thin without trying I get so jealous and feel like why should I have to work hard at being thin if other people don’t have to. Or when I’m on a diet and I can’t eat something that I really want I get so sad for some reason lol! I feel like if I have people to talk to about it, it will be easier for me.

I have about the last 8 pregnancy pounds that need to go. Unfortunately despite of all the exercise, I am stuck at the same measurements for the last couple months. Have started a new workout (JM’s 6 weeks 6 packs) since last week and cut down on junk foods so let’s see where it gets me.
