Re: Losing / Thining Hair
Massage your scalp, thats the best way hair will grow back, oils will condition your hair so can be used in combination (I would recommend olive), although not necessary.
Massage your scalp for about 10-15 minutes daily- the results wont be instant, but still to it and it'll definately work over time

Add methi dana seeds to any oil that you're using (preferably olive oil). It does wonders for hair, I have to tell ya. But make sure not to keep it in for more than 2-4 hours.

Re: Losing / Thining Hair
Eating the right things can help over the long term - foods with B vitamins and the like
Re: Losing / Thining Hair
^exactly. Usually, hair thinning is when you are low on certain vitamins and minerals. Eat lots of fruits and veggies and try taking some good multivitamins.

I've heard that lack of iodine can cause thinning of hair.So you can try eating foods rich in iodine..

You know what, I tried using that concoction you told me last year, and honestly the first time i used it the results were lovely. but I got so lazy and never did it again. Even had the bowl of oil sitting with teh methi seeds. But I will try it again........

Re: Losing / Thining Hair
High Carb Intake/Minimal Exercise --> Excess Insulin Levels --->Excess Androgens (Male Hormones) ----->Hair Loss
So if you are overweight/underactive, becoming active will balance out your hormone levels and improve your hair. Also, removing stress helps. Cortisol (the body's stress hormone) also causes excess insulin levels. Remember that all the hair you have is dead, so if it's already damaged, you aren't going to see a glossy sheen as soon as you start implementing changes. But over a year, you would definitely see improvement in the hair. I read in psychology that long hair is a sign of beauty in women b/c it gives a sign of fertility and health. So it makes sense that suboptimal health might be affecting the hair.

Neurobion is vit B complex i think...and Fefol is iron+folic acid supplement..is there any harm in taking these? and how long these should be taken?
Yes it is, ideally we should have them daily routine continuously for two months, especially when our daily intake is deficient of iron and multivitamins, in addition to this try having baked fish. It will ass lusture and shine to hairs.
