on a possitive note.. increasement and decreasement of imaan can hapen .. and to shw that you care .. your actually worried whats hapening with you .. which is a good thing and in return .. now we maybe able to help you ..bring that strength back ..
Anyone can lose it .. its just that sometimes .. a persons life Sucks so muchh .. and you think to ur self .. why bother .. and it cud be because of number of reasons ..prmarily.. it could be tht your just in tentsion..just feeling low .. andgood thing abut this is that .. this can be solved .. :)
The fact that you have recognized an issue means that you are actually bothered enough to make some changes. You know what to do. Don't look back, start today.

The fact that its bothering you shows that the religion is very much inside you. If you have lost it then you would be not be even bothered to open this thread.
**i wud say just hang in there. as bro said iimaan increases and decreases and also as well stated by sis that u recognized the slide im iimaan and doing something about it is a good sign, alHamdolillah. just try to seek answers to the questions that are arising in ur head by asking people of knowledge. i wud strongly recommend that u see the imaam of ur local masjid and also try to be in the company of the practicing people.
i dunno ur age but i'm sure at certain age in life these questions do pop up and cause stir and that shouldn't be cause for too much concern. just be patient and do not panic, plz! :) iA, things will work out with the hidaaya of Allah Almighty. :)**
Cant Quote 100% but i have heard a Narration in which Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique and other Exalted Ashabah.. Whereup they were discussing amongst themselves that whilst we re in presence of the Holy Prophet SAW we forget about everything and we dont even realise what goes on around us .. we forget we have families to go to and we have shopping to do etc .. and when we depart from the presence of the Messenge SAW .. its completly different feeling and .. its not the same .. since its discussion amongst themselves Ask the question ..Is it Maybe because our Iman is Weak and we re not as abiding and reliable in following Islam 100%...a Question indeed..
S o the Companions present themselves to the Prophet SAW and ask the same question ..and tell that this is the sittuation.. and the Messenger SAW replied ..That Iman Has many levels.. and this level can rise and decrease .... and its normal for it to hapen .. but keeping in mind that .. he isnt INTENTIONALLY neglecting Imaan..
^^ Above Incident .. InshaAllah will get to you with Reference and more Details .. but point at hand is that .. to be actually worried about your faith ..is actually part of your Imaan .. Shows that you care .. and InshaAllah .. You ll be Fine ...
thankyou..but im not tense...im actually fairly happy...:/
well there we are problem solved .. its just a temorary phase for you... and to get back in to thte swing ..try to be around people who are keeping fasts.. reading their 5 times prayers .. in the mornings .. if you normally used to read a Sipara .. read a quarter ... ..like its said .. its about Quality and not Quantity .. do as much as u can .. but .. consistantlyy ..continuoslyyy .. and isnahAllah you .. be rid f these thoughts and doubts about your self ..
now Point to take is .. that you can only try your best in being the best and abiding and Islam abiding personnn.. baqi its upto Allah Almighty to reward you .. You cant preasure yourself cos your not doing enuf of it .. hw can u .. if you ve tried your utmost best ...
What do we do when we put on weight and our body starts to feel slow and sluggish? We get up and exercise, work hard and burn the excessive kilos off. Similarly, when spiritually down, the remedy is to first take a step back and have a long hard look at yourself. Try to free yourself from all the unnecessary things and issues that have surrounded you in life (listen to the nice lecture on this topic from Sheikh Ninowy posted up there by someone). Read the Holy Quran and read about the beautiful lives of the Prophets, particularly Muhammad Mustafa (saww) and his AHlul Bayt (as). Foremost, ask Allah (swt) to show you the way.
well just as the others have said that it certainly does happen time and again with some people....just hold on tight and force yrself (if u have to) to do all that you ARE SUPPOSED TO DO....i mean the fardh and wajib stuff.....and if u do all thats fardh then soon insha'Allah you'll regain your love for religion (ie if it's shaitan who's trying to mislead you or anything else)
i m new here & totally agreed 2 ramesha, jst think abt ur birth u will understand every thing & ur heart will b pour with the thankfulness & luv 4 Allah & recite quran daily with translation. may Allah solve ur all problems (ameen).

Why would anyone cry if one doesn't feel the fear.. moreover if it's fear that drives anyone to believe in anything or practcie anythign then it's betetr not to indulge in it..
Fear-based belief is meaingless useless..
You are not alone many people who have really questioned things have found enough doubts not to belive in anything, and there is no need to fear anybody for that.. Reminds me of the answer of great philopher I am forgetting his name.:
When asked what will you do if there really is GOD and after dyign you face him and asks you why you didn't believe.
His reply was: I would ask him why do you take such a pain to hide yourself from mankind if you were real.
Be it goodbehave with others the way you expect yourself to be treated and there is no need whatsoever for any kind of religious paegeantry be it fasting or praying..

Crying can be a sign of humiliation, devotion and not just fear. Fear is driven when you know that you have not done something wrong knowingly and recognise the consequences. So nothing wrong with fear according to this post.

Agree. But lets not misunderstand the type of fear here.

And his reply would be "I have given you plenty of signs"

Asalaamu Alaikum wr wb, sister it is clear that you have a very weak imaan right now and it happens to a lot of us at times but if we don’t do anything about it then our imaan will continue to weaken and we will not feel like carrying out any good deeds or our obligations.
It is VERY important you act now and do something about this condition otherwise it will worsen and then what will you do if death comes?
You have to constantly remind yourself of your purpose in life that you are not here for your own pleasure but ONLY to worship Allah. For he has only given you an appointed time and your time can end AT ANY SECOND.
What will you answer to Allah if you are taken now? Are you prepared for the hereafter? Are you prepared for the grave punishement and a painful death? These are realitys we have to face because if we don’t change ourselves now that we have the time to then we are doomed and trust me we do not want to feel a second of the torture of the grave and the fire of hell let alone the pain of death.
These are things you should keep reminding yourself of. One of the best ways of increasing imaan is constantly think of death and that we can go at ANY second. You need to find good sisters that practise and stick with them because if your company is not right then how will you be right?
If only we knew how precious each second is especially this blessed month of Ramadan then we would NEVER want to waste a single second bt unfortunatley we do not know or realise the value of our time for we keep wasting it!
You need to start reading up about Islam and i would really recommend that you read about life after death and read other aspects of knowledge about Islam so that your imaan can increase because now is your chance whilst you are alive but you can go at any second and when death comes then it is to late for us to change!
Ramadan is the BEST time to change ourselves. There is still a week left of this precious month and these last few days are also the most important so make the best of it!
I pasted some very useful links for you to go through which will be very benefcial to you inshallah. If you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to ask.
