C’mon GA, we all hate him a lot but do you seriously think that he dropped those catches intentionally? First of all he is not capable of doing that. Secondly just for the sake of arguement, lets say he did that then it will actually be a case of breaking cricket’s law. Spirit of the game applies in cases like R@ndiv when he didn’t let Shewag finish his century by bowling no ball.
I think there is a difference between violating spiring of the game and breaking the law. Haven’t you heard people saying that cricket should be played in accordance with its traditional ‘spirit’, as well as within its laws.
In my opinion Flanagan had absolutely no idea what he was talking about.
