Re: Look

Hey Chippu:)

Ingredients:

1 pound beef (cut it into strips and cut against the grain this way it will cook quickly)
marinate the beef in 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon crushed peppers, 1 teaspoon black pepper, salt and 1 tablespoon of corn flour and 1 tablespoon of oil. Let it sit for a few hours

Take any veggies taht you like. Cut them in chinese style. Lightly fry them in oil and put them aside.

Now, in that same pan add 3 tablespoons of oil and add fresh crushed garlic to it. Before it turns brown add the beef to it. Let it cook. Once cooked add the veggies. Once everythng is well mixed. Take 2 teaspoons of corn flour mix it with half of cup of water and add it to the stirfry. Let it cook till it forms a gravy.

Viola, your dish is ready..serve it with brown or white rice.

Re: Look

shame on u mahru for making me hungry! lol!! kidding...looks yummy!!!!! what kind of beef do u use? like keema? gosht? veal? i suck when it comes to buying meat....

Re: Look

mmmmmmmmmm.

afshi u may not realise but ur options are actually hilarious :omg:

Re: Look

the sight of red meat is never appealing

Re: Look

Mahru thats the most easiest stirfry recipe i've ever come across.

Is there a substitue for Soya Sauce though?

Afshi you are so cute :D

Re: Look

Afshi: This is what my brain is doing after reading your question:mudhosh:

We sparingly buy red meat. But, when i do it has to be 99% lean and i ask the butcher to give me good pieces…i honestly don’t know much about meat myself:cb:

Elbeee: yeah it is the most easiest and quickest recipe ever for the soy sauce…hmm i don’t know i have never made it without it…are you allergic to it???

And for the ones the sight was not very appealing…you can always substitute the meat with your choice of meat :snooty:

Re: Look

I want it! :naraz:
But nowhere to get it from.. :hinna:

Re: Look

LB you can use vinegar if you don’t use soya sauce ..

:yummy: looks delicious and yes i think the dish is chinese :k:

Re: Look

and yes afshi it is beef ..

Re: Look

AFSHI.....:D ....sorry.....but u r cute and funny...!!

MEHRU....thanks a load for the recipe....its easy and seems to be a quick one....i'll definitely give it a try soon....:)

Re: Look

LB...y cant u use soya sauce...??i guess worcestershire sauce can be used too....it really goes well with beef...

Re: Look

teriyaki sauce is good too...but ladies, im serious! so mahru, i should just go to the halal meat store and ask the guy for some red meat??? this is all my mother's fault...alwasy telling me that mota gosht is not good....(i think?)...veal is good....chicken keema is better than beef keema....im so confused!!!!!
mahru..i think it will be best if u just ship me the meat directly...no confusion!

p.s...i also put a pinch of tandoori masala in my stir fry...great flavour...
