Seminole we believe the Quran to be a complete and true book of Allah. If it says somthing, thats how it should be followed. You obviously dont beleive in it, so refrain from commenting.
There are many things in many cultures/religions that I find disrespectful, some guy lowering their gaze doesnt hurt anyone.
in my point of view.. a man dont have to lower his gaze when talking to woman.( but its good if he do ).. the verse u quoted can also mean that u CAN look at her but dont look at her in a bad sense..
if u can look at her while talking to her...without even getting any evil thoughts.....then i guess its ok...
u dont have to take everything literally..
