Long lost Brother/Sister met through GS/Facebook

A guppan sent me an invite through Facebook. Guess what, she has same exact middle and last name as mine. We are guessing that we are brother/sister who got lost in a Mela when we were very young.

Now I am asking her if she knows a family song that our mother used to sing for us, that she can sing so we can confirm..

what other bollywood style situations we can try to make sure that we are indeed real borther and sister..

:konfused:

Re: Long lost Brother/Sister met through GS/Facebook

The black hairy mole on the inner part of your left arm, plus the receding hair line ought to do it.

Re: Long lost Brother/Sister met through GS/Facebook

:chai:

How do you know :hmmm:

:smilestar: I did not have a receding hair line when I got lost at the young age, plus when I got lost, I did not have my arms raised in the air so I am not sure that she was able to notice my black mole when kidnappers were dragging me away from my family.

Re: Long lost Brother/Sister met through GS/Facebook

there is always the instinct, you know how in Bollywood movies they can always tell just by looking at the person :hehe:

Zalim Dakoo snatched that locket from my neck when I was in the Mela :frowning:

Oh yes, I remember how Parvin Babi was always a heroine against Amitabh and Amitabh was in love with her in every movie on the very first sight, but in this one movie she was his long lost sister and by god Amitabh had that instinct from the begining as he was flirting with every women in that movies excepy Parvin Babi :hehe:

Genetic test!

Re: Long lost Brother/Sister met through GS/Facebook

i havnt seen u soo much… mast bfore …

Ok, its a movie from mid 80's .. the only genetic test from that time is when a blind mother touches the hand of her son and immediately knows who he is

that’s totally non-bollywoodish :smack:

:omg:

Re: Long lost Brother/Sister met through GS/Facebook

Most likely, you should check your servant's children, because you know how they always steal them from their employers

Re: Long lost Brother/Sister met through GS/Facebook

Sidra girl you are so right, and all of a sudden this shiny sparkly kid is among 7 others who are not…then you know something is gaRbaR :omg:

Correction... you were a mela who were lost when you were very young, like in black and white era.

Re: Long lost Brother/Sister met through GS/Facebook

you must be a dhobi in that era ... thus know the diff between mela and mailaa

but surely you have the torn half of that picture of your sister… and she kept the half with your picture.

In the wake of new techology today, you both will simply post your two bits on Flickr  and you’ll know.

Or… wasn’t there a toy gun you hid under the sand in your childhood… and when you were visiting a place near your childhood home, you get a burst of nostalgia and go digging for it. As luck would have it, your long lost sister was also in the area at that instant and sees you retrieve it… you embrace each other… and loud sobs of “bhaiyya”…and “behna” ensue.

:rotfl: so true… and for anyone who wants to know… the movie was Desh Premi… sincerely… Encyclopedia Bachanica.
