Usually international flights have bassinet kind of thing and they give you front seats. Before you go on a long flight ask them about bassinet and good front seats if you want to save money.

Child’s height and weight matter. No way a 14 month old is fitting in there. What khabees airlines are these that charge more for a bassinet!!! I travelled quite a bit with a kid that required a bassinet and thankfully none of the airlines pulled this trick…phew
