But, I’ve never wanted a woman that could sponsor me, rather, I’ve always wished for somebody who could see my country the way I see it.

Sounds like you both have a lot of growing up to do. Either you both commit to growing up and learning how to communicate (counselling, elders, ect), or get out.
I also think people who cheat will cheat again. Save yourself from a life of drama and please get some help for yourself. Sounds like you have some self-esteem stuff you need to work out made worse by this loser.

OP, I am sorry for what you went through. Unfortunately Pakistan appears to be filed with these beghairaths who think they can treat girls this way but such men can NEVER be happy. Wish you all the best for the future.

I was going to post some advice not realizing this was an old thread from my long distance experience but I'm glad things have been sorted for you and for once in your entire thread you seem sure of yourself. Wishing you the best and hope you are able to find someone that loves and respects you for who you are. Any man whether it be long distance or not that cares an inch would respect you and your family. Mistakes are human nature, this situation could have been much worse and your family did the right thing. I'm sure your in a better place and you should focus on you now. Marriage and relationships will come when they are meant to be, sometimes things happen when you least expect them. Take this as a blessing in disguise and you can only go up from here as long as you don't repeat those same steps that lead you into a bad situation.

Aww ive been reading this thread for a while and I really feel for you. I'm sooo happy that you got outta it. You deserve soooo much more than that loser and I'm glad you realised that.
