London / UK Riots

Re: London / UK Riots

the more I watch his appeal, the more I get sad and feel a lump in my throat. How can he think of the world when his world, his son has been killed mindlessly? But I guess Allah never tests you beyond your tolerance limit.

I was watching another clip on sky in which he was asking people to 'grow up, and go home' when desi boys were chanting angrily.

Re: London / UK Riots

There were all sorts of people there but very few desis, overwhelming looters were black (around 80%) both male and females. I think the Manchester city council is taking the right approach where they are studying the CCTV footage and anyone involved whom they can identify as living in council accommodation will be evicted from such accomodation. Well done Manchester council.

Re: London / UK Riots

Cameron was in birmingham was he not? He should have gone to meet Mr Tariq. Not saying because Tariq is desi but because it would have meant a lot to people suffering because of these riots. It would have been a great personal touch.

Re: London / UK Riots

way to go Manchester council!
I also read somewhere that there is a petition circulating asking the gov't to take away any sort of social welface assistance from those that are charged and convicted.

Re: London / UK Riots

I wonder if Jehan might have declined the visit if he was offered it......

Re: London / UK Riots

Cameron and his ministers etc look so out of touch with the communities. Some of them are even getting booed down and heavily criticized by the media.

Re: London / UK Riots

carrying on from my previous post regarding the Sikh Sangat TV, they have now announced a joint Sikh/Muslim peaceful march in Birmingham to protest the murder of these three guys. When will our Islamic channels wake up.

Re: London / UK Riots

^ I think particularly with it being Ramadan one would expect the Islam channels to take some kind of stance of peace and calm. Disgusting, i hope they wake up soon.

God bless the 3 boys who died, may Allah thallah grant them a place in his eternal kingdom.

This is beyond looting now, one guy shot dead in Croydon, 3 boys killed, and some middle aged man beaten to such an extent that they could not identify him.

The EDL and BNP are sure to get all the votes now. Not only are they causing havoc they are ruining it for the rest. What bunch low life's.

I am sure just from watching most the news coverage 80% people are from the black community. It's appalling, from fighting for equal rights, to this. Martin Luther king must be so proud right now. (Sarcasm). For all he fought for, they ruined in under one week.

And the Chavs and any Asains that are involved, well there actions are inexcusable. Just because you may not have what others do, doesn't mean you bite the hand that feeds you.

This country has free healthcare, schooling, benefits, housing and human rights. And you still abuse the system, will they be happy when they are left without shelter, food and clothing?

Surely there would have been a more peaceful way to show your hardships. The streets they destroy, the shops they loot, and the people they hurt, are the ones they live in and the ones the will have to face.

Where is there conscious? Where is there human emotion? Have they no thought for their tomorrow, their mindless greed has warped their minds, where is the good in these people?

We can't let them run riot, just because they have no direction in their lives, does not mean that they should ruin ours.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un - My heart goes out to the families of the shuhadah.

Any word on the catching the murderer(s)?

They've already charged one 32 year old man and found the car he used. Don't know if more than one person was involved.

Re: London / UK Riots

That is good news..I hope justice is swift. This can further inflame race relations.

Re: London / UK Riots

I am not sure if this video has been posted on the thread or not.

Re: London / UK Riots

Basically here is what happened.

Cops had a warrant to arrest a Black Drug Dealer. When they came to arrest him, there was an exchange of gun fire or cops just shot him and he was killed.

Blacks launched a protest march and cops were totally caught off guard to deal with it. As the Cops retreated, the protest march soon turned into looting.

When the Looting started, Whites, Turks, and other ethnic groups joined in and steal stuff. The stores they targeted where in their neighborhoods which are mostly owned by Desis.

The problem in England is that it is a welfare state. The Government gives enough welfare for poor people not to starve but too much to force them to educate and find jobs. So these guys remain in a perpetual state and now are using these riots to steal stuff.

Re: London / UK Riots

Found out earlier my brother’s mobile shop got looted on Tuesday and its not even in one of the places in London highlighted on the news. :bummer:

Re: London / UK Riots

It has now been established that the guy who was killed by the police never opened any fire.

Re: London / UK Riots

Forget expensive prisons I have a better idea!

Round the animals up and re-open the coal mines! The thugs send coal up and we'll send bread down! You just need one guard at the top with a baton incase any of the thugs try to climb out!

Re: London / UK Riots

So sorry to hear that! :frowning: :frowning:

How much did they take?

Re: London / UK Riots

One more drug dealer off the street. People like that ruin plenty of lives. Was nt this Duggan carrying a gun? Live by the gun, die by the gun or whatever these gangsters say!

He got justice in my opinion. Sad thing is his community think he is a hero and an angel.
