London / UK Riots

Re: London / UK Riots

The Rioters are mostly Black who are attacking Desi Stores because of the discrimination they claim they face when they go shopping there.

Kind of reminds me of the Los Angeles Riots of 1992. When Blacks rioting in Los Angeles targetting Korean Stores.

Re: London / UK Riots

You guys have no clue. They are everyone (black, white, brown) and they are attacking everyone.

It is so tragic to lose a young son by a father.

Re: London / UK Riots

Yes you can - as per the The Terrorism Act 2000 passed by British parliament - The first section of the act defines Terrorism as:

Section 1. -

(1) In this Act "terrorism" means the use or threat of action where-

(a) the action falls within subsection (2),
(b) the use or threat is designed to influence the government [or an international governmental organisation][2] or to intimidate the public or a section of the public, and
(c) the use or threat is made for the purpose of advancing a political, religious , racial][3] or ideological cause.

(2) Action falls within this subsection if it-

(a) involves serious violence against a person,
(b) involves serious damage to property,
(c) endangers a person's life, other than that of the person committing the action,
(d) creates a serious risk to the health or safety of the public or a section of the public, or
(e) is designed seriously to interfere with or seriously to disrupt an electronic system.

(3) The use or threat of action falling within subsection (2) which involves the use of firearms or explosives is terrorism whether or not subsection (1) (b) is satisfied.

What an exemplary statement and remarkable show of character in such a difficult time....mA.
I hope that his pleas are heard and heard well by the community.
If I had lost a child to such nonsense I would either be a heap on the ground or out for justice................

Re: London / UK Riots

Tariq jahan... such an emotional yet dignified appeal for peace... Heart goes out to him and his family! Salute to you sir.

Re: London / UK Riots

Well I am from London and I'd say 80% of the looters were black.

Re: London / UK Riots

You are from London so you should know that Tottenham has a big community of black people so I'm not surprised at the 80% of them being black, there was a mixture of black, Asians and Turk and Kurdish in other parts of London and 200 white rioters in Liverpool.

And not to forget the fact that they ransack every high street shop and also residential buildings.
